About the position

The Epic Implementation Manager at Prime Healthcare plays a crucial role in overseeing the implementation of Clinical applications within the organization. Reporting directly to the Epic Program Manager, this position is responsible for managing all aspects of future Epic implementations across Prime Healthcare's hospitals. The Implementation Manager will work closely with hospital leadership to ensure that both corporate and local initiatives are effectively integrated into the implementation process. This role is pivotal in ensuring that after each go-live, there is a seamless transition to the Production Support team, thereby guaranteeing ongoing support for the hospital's operations. In addition to overseeing the implementation process, the Implementation Manager will supervise the performance of all analysts within their team, which focuses on the Clinical applications domain. This includes ensuring that the team is well-prepared and equipped to handle the complexities of the Epic system and that they maintain high standards of performance throughout the implementation phases. The role requires strong leadership skills, as the Implementation Manager will be responsible for leading large teams and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes success and efficiency in the implementation process. The position demands a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry and hospital operations, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. The Implementation Manager will also be expected to utilize their project management skills to navigate the challenges that arise during the implementation of electronic medical records and other clinical applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of future Epic implementations at Prime hospitals.
• Build relationships with hospital leadership to incorporate corporate and local initiatives into implementations.
• Ensure a successful handoff to the Production Support team after each go-live.
• Supervise performance of all analysts on the team focused on Clinical applications.
• Lead large teams during the implementation process.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding implementation progress and challenges.

Requirements

• Six or more years of applicable work experience required.
• Minimum five years of experience working with electronic medical records required.
• Experience leading an Epic implementation required.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Minimum four years of experience with an integrated healthcare information system preferred.
• Minimum four years of experience in project management preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry and hospital operations preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
