About the position

The Systems Analyst II position is a critical role within the Information Services department, focusing on ensuring that all applications are designed to meet user needs and operate efficiently within a production environment. This role involves a combination of technical expertise and project management skills, as the analyst will assist or lead projects that range from small to large in scale. The primary responsibility is to translate user requirements into effective technical solutions, which includes identifying the root causes of problems, designing appropriate solutions, modifying applications or processes, and overseeing the testing, implementation, and documentation of these solutions. In this role, the Systems Analyst II will work closely with various stakeholders to gather and analyze user requirements, ensuring that the software systems not only meet current needs but are also scalable for future demands. The analyst will be responsible for maintaining a high level of communication with users and other IT staff to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally and that any issues are addressed promptly. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in system performance and user satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Information Technology, with a particular emphasis on healthcare IT, as this will be crucial for understanding the specific needs and challenges faced in this sector. The role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility, but candidates must either reside in Georgia or be willing to relocate to that area.
