About the position

The Epic Program Manager is responsible for facilitating project management methodologies to ensure the successful execution of Community Connect projects within the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, customer interactions, and ensuring project goals are met through effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates the execution of project management methodology to ensure project development and achievement of goals.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of projects including scope, time, cost, and quality.
  • Responsible for ongoing customer interaction and satisfaction.
  • Oversees all aspects of assigned Community Connect projects utilizing FMOLHS project management methodologies and software.
  • Coordinates and completes projects across organizations including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, budgets, and monitoring progress.
  • Develops and tracks project plans and conducts business analysis on assigned projects.
  • Establishes and maintains project communications and sets quality and performance standards.
  • Provides ongoing support for team members during all phases of projects.
  • Leads operational project teams to ensure maximum performance and provides direction to the team.
  • Coordinates with team members' designated direct managers to ensure staff has the necessary training and expertise.
  • Develops contingency plans for resource management.
  • Identifies ways of improving current services and consults with management on issues and problems.
  • Actively manages vendor and contractor agreements to support implementations.
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Serves as a product and industry expert for clients.
  • Delivers personalized, high-quality service to clients and maintains strong customer relationships post-implementation.
  • Develops communication timelines to ensure regular client contact for ongoing satisfaction.
  • Resolves customer issues and makes recommendations for product enhancements.
  • Provides Revenue Cycle support and ensures customer AR expectations are met.
  • Attends client service review meetings and covers SLA performance reports and service improvements.
  • Works closely with the Epic training team to develop and facilitate workshops and training courses.
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry changes and collaborates with FMOLHS IS Epic teams for necessary upgrades and changes.

Requirements

  • 5 years experience in project management, physician clinic management utilizing an electronic medical record and practice management system, or IT service delivery.
  • 2 years leading projects and/or leading people (years may be concurrent).
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years professional/exempt-level experience.
