About the position

Epic Resolute PB Analysts play a crucial role in the design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing management and support of business applications and technology within the healthcare environment. They are primarily responsible for obtaining and maintaining an in-depth working knowledge of the functionalities and capabilities of their assigned modules and applications. This involves working directly with relevant departments to understand their needs and model future-state workflows, focusing on systems, applications, and technologies that support revenue cycle departments and business units. As the primary support contact for the Epic module's end-users, Epic Resolute PB Analysts identify issues that arise in their application area, as well as issues that impact other application teams, and work diligently to resolve them. They guide workflow design, build and test the system, and analyze technical issues associated with Epic software. Additionally, they serve as a liaison between end users' workflow needs and Epic implementation staff, ensuring that the system meets the organization's business needs regarding project deliverables and timelines. The role requires maintaining regular communication with Epic representatives, participating in weekly project team meetings, and developing an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows. This includes attending clinic on-site visits, validation sessions, and other integrated sessions. Analysts also participate in training, work with end users, and notify them of new feature updates as they become available. Staying up to date on all releases and participating in the quarterly update process is essential, as is following established guidelines for system change control and implementing approved changes based on end user designated priorities. Furthermore, they maintain system documentation to enable ongoing support and identify revisions needed to existing Policies & Procedures, initiating the revision process with appropriate organizational departments. Epic Resolute PB Analysts hold ongoing communications with team members and department representatives, including Senior Leadership, to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones. They also provide the technical capability to triage and troubleshoot issues that physicians and office staff may encounter using the EMR, which includes network, computer, wireless, and peripheral support. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
