About the position

This position is for a Manager in the Enterprise Performance Management practice within Finance Consulting services at PwC. The role involves working closely with senior finance executives to optimize finance functions and enhance their contributions to business performance. The Manager will lead teams in addressing complex business issues, utilizing data and insights to inform decision-making, and developing solutions that align with client needs. The position emphasizes leadership, coaching, and the development of new skills, while also focusing on the technical implementation of EPM tools and financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new skills outside of comfort zone.
  • Act to resolve issues which prevent the team from working effectively.
  • Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.
  • Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.
  • Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.
  • Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm's/client's expectations.
  • Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
  • Develop a point of view on key global trends and how they impact clients.
  • Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
  • Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
  • Lead practices in Month End Consolidation, SEC and Statutory Reporting, Financial Master Data Management, and Account Reconciliations.
  • Lead technical implementation of EPM tools such as Oracle Cloud EPM, Hyperion Planning, and others.
  • Manage efforts in identifying and addressing client needs, building relationships, and communicating effectively with clients.
  • Supervise teams to create an atmosphere of trust and encourage improvement and innovation.

Requirements

  • Proven record of success as a team leader in finance consulting.
  • Experience with Month End Consolidation, SEC and Statutory Reporting, and Financial Master Data Management.
  • Technical expertise in EPM tools such as Oracle Cloud EPM, Hyperion Planning, and related services.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to develop meaningful recommendations based on complex data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships and manage project workflows.
