About the position

The EPM Solution Engineer at Oracle Customer Success Services is responsible for leading the implementation of Financial Close, Consolidation, and Reporting using Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Services (FCCS) and Planning & Budgeting in EPBCS. This role requires strong application development experience and functional knowledge in forecasting and consolidation processes, along with a proven track record in consulting and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of Financial Close, Consolidation, and Reporting using FCCS and EPBCS.
  • Drive requirements gathering from the client.
  • Prepare Functional Specifications Document and facilitate sign-off with stakeholders.
  • Drive technical design and implementation of the FCCS/EPBCS/ARCS solution and support post-launch activities.
  • Conduct Conference Room Pilot sessions with business users and incorporate their feedback into the solution.
  • Develop integration for loading metadata/data in EDMCS and Data Integration.
  • Create custom reports as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of system documentation.
  • Perform Unit and System Integration Testing.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Assist with Production deployment and rollout.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Business Accounting.
  • At least 8 years of consulting experience in designing EPM Cloud Solutions.
  • Experience in requirement gathering and solution design.
  • Functional knowledge of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, consolidation methods, and financial statement disclosures.
  • Implementation experience with designing detailed components of the FCCS and EPBCS solution.
  • Knowledge of EPM Automate and scripting languages (Batch, VBScript, Python, PowerShell).
  • Experience managing EDM hierarchies and enabling data governance.
