About the position

As an Asset Management Analyst at Lockheed Martin, you will play a crucial role in managing capital and government property throughout its lifecycle. This includes maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and interfacing with various stakeholders during audits. Your responsibilities will encompass property accountability, database management, and supporting leadership with financial reporting and inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Provides property accountability support and services in establishing property records and database management.
  • Assists Property Leadership in administering contract provisions related to property management.
  • Reviews new tag requests and validates data prior to record creation for new items.
  • Validates PO WBS for proper tagging and accountability.
  • Creates records in PROP for all accountable property, including property at subcontractors.
  • Tracks movement of all assets and updates PROP accordingly.
  • Reviews and approves eShippers when property is shipped or hand carried.
  • Performs annual inventory of all assets.
  • Creates monthly CDRL reports.
  • Reviews and assists in completing Loss forms for damaged or lost property.
  • Updates Government database for Property Losses.
  • Updates records from completed ADRs for property to be dispositioned.
  • Performs property transfers in PIEE.
  • Updates UID registry using PROP, I2S, and/or directly in JUID registry.
  • Updates and requests Rent Free Non Interference Use (RFNIU) requests.
  • Works with customers on special requests for data on property records.
  • Assists in verifying that property records accurately reflect inventory on hand.
  • Supports customer property control system audits.
  • Performs site self-assessments.
  • Coordinates scrap with government and company systems.
  • Applies government regulations, customer contracts, corporate policy, or recommended industry standards.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of US Government acquisition regulations is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Property Management as it relates to the US government and US military is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations related to Asset Management is required.
  • Effective customer relations skills are required.
  • Ability to work effectively with upper management, peers, and customers is required.
  • Ability to participate on cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively is required.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize electronic database systems is required.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications, are required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and lift up to 40 pounds is required.
  • Ability to compare, join, and manipulate data in MS Excel is required.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision is required.

  • A diverse background in multiple Property Management environments is desired.
  • Experience with government contracting, including modifications, is desired.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management is desired.
  • NPMA membership and certification is a plus.
