Responsibilities

  • Review New Model Car part data for application into existing equipment and process or for new machine/process development.
  • Machine or tooling concept creation utilizing 3D CAD software and 3D robotic simulation software.
  • Creation of Specification documentation to summarize changepoints, establish criteria and process/part flow.
  • Lead meetings with customers both upstream and downstream to gain consensus.
  • Create and maintain a critical path schedule to maintain overall project milestones.
  • Conduct On-Site investigations of Mfg Lines and facilities.
  • Provide on-site support to install/modify equipment to validate criteria is achieved and stable production can be achieved.

Requirements

  • 4-year Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or 2-year Engineering degree with related experience.
  • 2 term Co-op or internship in the field of degree.
  • Knowledge of 3D CAD systems and software.
  • Background in automated equipment development.
  • Excellent technical communication skills (both written and oral).
