About the position

The role involves the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of PPT equipment in wafer fabrication. The position requires a strong understanding of electronic circuits, PLCs, and robotics, along with the ability to read schematics. The technician will ensure equipment operates according to company standards, minimizing downtime, and will also be responsible for establishing preventive maintenance programs and administering training for proper equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of PPT equipment in wafer fabrication.
• Knowledge of electronic circuits, PLCs, and robotics, and ability to read schematics.
• Follow and complete preventive maintenance instructions.
• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot equipment to meet company standards and minimize downtime.
• Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
• Administer training programs for proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
• Work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative, making recommendations for solutions.
• Determine methods and procedures for new assignments.
• Provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel.

Requirements

• AAS technical degree preferred.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Preferred software and hardware experience.
• Related experience in the field, with post-secondary education preferred or relevant military experience.
