Skyworks is looking for a hands-on technician to join our Newbury Park Equipment Engineering Team supporting the Fab and Final Process areas. The technician will be responsible for dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and assembling equipment according to schematics, blueprints, drawings, and operating or repair manuals. This role involves performing preventive and routine maintenance and repairs on semiconductor manufacturing equipment following work instructions and manufacturer manuals. The technician will follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to all production equipment in a specific area. Additionally, the technician will perform electrical/mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical production equipment used in the Fab, set up, calibrate, and conduct preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, and rebuild and repair manufacturing equipment as required. The technician will also perform equipment modifications as directed by Equipment Engineering and work on complex assignments requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations to the Engineering community. Participation as a contributing member of the Emergency Response Team is also expected.
