About the position

The Equipment Finance Asset Manager III is responsible for managing equipment asset functions in a fast-paced environment, overseeing various equipment categories including construction, material handling, and rolling stock. This role involves working with both direct and vendor portfolios, ensuring effective asset management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform machinery and equipment valuations
• Coordinate equipment inspections and attend credit review meetings
• Perform reconciliations and asset remarketing
• Interact regularly with the Collections team on repossessed assets
• Provide reporting and industry updates, working with management on structure, terms and tenure
• Complete miscellaneous projects, reporting and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or experience
• 5+ years' experience in one of the core equipment management functions of valuation, portfolio management or remarketing with other reputable finance companies

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrated skills in equipment valuation and forecasting
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills to interact with management, sales, credit and customers
