About the position

The Equipment Finance Transaction Coordinator is responsible for managing contracts in the post-booking phase, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial transactions. This role involves processing payments, handling inquiries, and supporting management with various projects, all while adhering to regulatory standards within Bank Capital Services.

Responsibilities

  • Processes payoff quotes and final payments.
  • Terminates leases within the appropriate software once lease terms are satisfied.
  • Communicates terminated leases to the accounting group for proper G/L entries.
  • Posts payments to individual lease accounts and balances cash receipts.
  • Completes daily cash reconciliation and monitors unapplied cash on account.
  • Corrects journal entries as needed.
  • Serves as a point of contact for customers regarding post-booking inquiries.
  • Tracks and processes Personal Property Tax Letters and invoices customers.
  • Follows up with 3rd party tax preparers regarding tax letters.
  • Tracks customer maintenance payments and processes associated 3rd party maintenance fees.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software.
  • Intermediate level skills in MS Word and MS Excel; basic level in MS PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred.
