About the position

The Equipment Installation Technician is responsible for the proper installation and operation of truck and trailer mounted equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring that equipment is installed safely and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the company in delivering quality services to commercial equipment users.

Responsibilities

• Read job order and plan work procedures.
• Document work performed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Proficiently and safely use hand and air operated tools.
• Possess own tools or acquire them.
• Understand the operation and use of a welder and a cutting torch.
• Install and troubleshoot 12VDC electrical components.
• Perform MIG welding both vertically and horizontally following proper procedures.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding the work performed and foster positive customer relationships.
• Advise customers of any repairs or services needed within the next 3 months.
• Perform Class 1-2 vehicle equipment installations with limited supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 12 months experience in installation of commercial truck and trailer mounted equipment.
• Must pass a 2G MIG weld test as defined by the State of Oklahoma.
