About the position

The Installation Technician at KR Wolfe Inc. is responsible for the installation and de-installation of custom structures, cabinetry, millwork, and medical equipment in healthcare environments. This role involves renovation and demolition tasks, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards while maintaining effective communication with team members and clients. The technician will also manage project documentation and utilize various tools and technologies to complete installations efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Install custom structures, cabinetry, millwork, and medical equipment.
  • De-install equipment and perform renovation tasks in healthcare spaces.
  • Adhere to KR Wolfe's Mission, Vision & Values in all work performed.
  • Use company-provided technology for communication and documentation.
  • Complete daily timecards and manage expense reports accurately.
  • Demonstrate professional etiquette with team members and clients.
  • Perform basic math and problem-solving as needed.
  • Maintain environmental awareness and adhere to safety measures at all times.
  • Use power and hand tools safely and properly.
  • Prepare daily construction reports and manage project documentation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a construction field environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform manual labor and use power tools safely.
  • Experience with demolition and crisis management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in carpentry, painting, drywall, electrical, plumbing, and framing.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of building processes and material costs.
