About the position

The Equipment & Logistics Manager at Helfrich Brothers Boiler Works is responsible for overseeing the logistics and equipment management for field services. This role involves ensuring that all mobile tool trailers are stocked with the necessary equipment, materials, and personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe working environment during projects and outages. The position requires a motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling pickup/drop-off of mobile tool trailers and job boxes
• Managing mobile trailer tool and PPE inventory
• Overseeing mobile site toolbox inventory
• Enhancing the tool inventory process and equipment
• Overseeing maintenance schedule of the fleet of mobile tool trailers and equipment
• Performing regular inspections and repairs on company equipment when necessary
• Ensuring Field Service trailers are stocked and equipped for project work and outages
• Managing Sea-Conex's, rigging gear, and specialty equipment for projects
• Collaborating with Project Managers to improve operations and reduce costs
• Planning and working independently or within a group
• Promoting a positive company image and reputation
• Scheduling shipment of parts and materials for projects

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience and/or training in logistics or equipment management
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Mechanically inclined and skilled with basic tools
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and SharePoint
