About the position

The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repair of facility equipment and systems within a printed circuit board manufacturing environment. This role ensures that acceptable conditions are maintained throughout the plant and involves receiving technical guidance from higher-level technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance procedures on facility equipment after being trained.
• Help maintain maintenance records and information on facility equipment.
• Assist with problem troubleshooting in equipment, process, or materials.
• Interface and communicate with internal and external customers as needed to resolve equipment issues.
• Suggest equipment improvement opportunities and modification of equipment to improve operation.
• Help maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Troubleshoot and maintain basic electro-mechanical equipment.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of electrical/electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to establish priorities and manage personal work assignment backlog.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining basic electro-mechanical equipment.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted, stand for 8-12 hours consistently, and climb ladders to perform duties.
• Ability to communicate well with others.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings is necessary.
• Experience using Microsoft Windows software applications and other general computer skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate Degree preferred.
• Electrical knowledge/experience preferred.
• Mechanical skills required.
