We are looking for a full-time Facilities Maintenance Worker to join our team at the Clyde Hotel in Albuquerque, NM. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $19.00, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, accident coverage, critical illness insurance, and a 401k plan. As a Facilities Maintenance Worker, you will work under the direction of the Facilities Manager/Supervisor, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards. Your role will involve responding to work orders and performing routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting buildings and grounds for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions. You will conduct general maintenance tasks such as basic electrical work, plumbing, painting, drywall repairs, tile work, and landscaping. Additionally, you will be responsible for repairing and treating various structures, including floors, sinks, showers, walls, windows, carpets, roofs, locks, and drains. You may also be tasked with maintaining pools, spas, and hot tubs as needed. You will be expected to ensure that all work activities conform to safety, sanitation, and health regulations and policies. This position may require you to work in various conditions, including outdoors, indoors, and in confined spaces, and may involve frequent walking, standing, climbing, lifting, and carrying of equipment and materials.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of the Facilities Manager/Supervisor.
  • Maintain a high level of positivity and professionalism with guests, team members, and external partners.
  • Respond to work orders and perform routine facilities maintenance.
  • Maintain facility equipment as indicated by the preventative maintenance plan.
  • Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
  • Conduct regular building and facilities general maintenance including basic electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, tile, and landscaping.
  • Repair and treat structures such as floors, sinks, showers, walls, windows, carpets, roofs, locks, and drains.
  • Ensure that all work activities conform to all safety, sanitation, and health regulations and policies.
  • May include maintenance of pools, spas, and hot tubs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at any of the properties.

Requirements

  • 1 year of facilities maintenance or construction experience preferred.
  • Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Ability to push/pull/lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have a current, unrestricted driver's license and be able to maintain company group insurance.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
