About the position

This role requires a strong mechanical background, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. The Equipment Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime and enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
• Conduct repairs on electrical systems, including low voltage components.
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns related to equipment functionality.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial mechanics.
• Proficiency in maintaining various types of industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, particularly low voltage applications.
• Experience using diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Strong communication skills with a commitment to customer service.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Programmable logic controllers (1 year preferred).
• Mechanical knowledge (1 year preferred).
