About the position

The Equipment Operator at Dean Snyder Construction is responsible for operating a variety of heavy construction equipment, including cranes, to ensure project completion with high safety and quality standards. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proficiency in operating heavy construction equipment, including cranes.
• Knowledge of construction safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and adapt to changing project requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment, including cranes.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) must be able to pass Company MVR policy.
• National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) certification required.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in equipment operation (preferred but not required)
