About the position

The Equipment Rentals Account Manager at Trinity Equipment Inc. is responsible for generating new leads and expanding the customer base throughout Southern California. This role involves significant travel to job sites and customer offices, presenting and renting out construction equipment, and maintaining strong client relationships. The position requires a proactive approach to meet and exceed sales quotas while resolving customer concerns efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Generate new leads and grow the current customer base throughout Southern California.
• Spend the majority of time on the road, traveling between job sites and customer account offices.
• Present and rent out company products to current and potential customers.
• Actively seek out new leads and referrals while developing client relationships.
• Meet and exceed sales quotas.
• Resolve customer concerns in a positive and efficient manner.
• Coordinate with Trinity Equipment staff on rentals, service calls, and collections.
• Develop product knowledge of current and new inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of previous sales experience in construction equipment or rental equipment.
• Knowledge of the heavy dirt construction industry and compact equipment industry.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain organized with excellent time management skills.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Willingness to learn and grow in an ever-changing environment.
• Must be able to provide a Motor Vehicle Record at the time of job offer (current within 15 days).
