About the position

The position involves coordinating and distributing equipment to employees, ensuring compliance with company regulations, and providing excellent customer service in an airport environment. The role requires effective communication, multitasking, and adherence to safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and distribute equipment to employees.
  • Work with Client Special Services Representatives to ensure all requests for services are met.
  • Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Pull assignments or work orders from the computer as needed.
  • Complete reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Familiarize with all FAA/TSA/Airline/Company regulations.
  • Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the immediate work area and report maintenance needs.
  • Escalate issues to the Operations Manager immediately.
  • Communicate effectively with fellow employees and passengers.
  • Maintain all service transactions in the Cabin Service tracking program or appropriate format.
  • Create and generate reports of service performance.
  • Receive and respond to telephone and radio calls from Client representatives and employees.
  • Maintain and distribute radios where applicable.
  • Complete appropriate documentation and reports thoroughly and timely.
  • Provide general information and directions to passengers.
  • Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from airlines, staff, and the public in a courteous manner.
  • Attend meetings and in-services as required.
  • Utilize appropriate communications channels and maintain records, reports, and files as required.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in the achievement of company objectives.
  • Utilize company and client equipment, supplies, and resources in a conscientious, cost-effective manner.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous airport and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous radio/phone dispatch experience desirable.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of office environment software applications (word-processing, spreadsheet, data management).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a reliable telephone and transportation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously.
  • Excellent radio/telephone skills.
