About the position

The Equipment Sales - Inside Sales position at AgPro Ohio involves selling new and used agricultural and outdoor power equipment to both new and existing customers. The role focuses on maintaining product knowledge, monitoring competitive activities, and providing excellent customer service within a defined sales area.

Responsibilities

  • Sell new and used agricultural equipment/outdoor power equipment to customers.
  • Represent the company for machinery sales in a defined sales area.
  • Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment.
  • Monitor competitive activity/products and communicate findings to management.
  • Maintain sales management information for all customers in the assigned territory.
  • Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
  • Monitor trends in customer's business activities and communicate to management.
  • Maintain knowledge of used equipment values for trading purposes.
  • Assist customers with financing options for purchases.
  • Attend sales training events and seminars.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years agricultural equipment/outdoor power equipment sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
