About The Position

The Equipment Salesperson is responsible for selling new and used agricultural and light construction equipment, including but not limited to tractors, combines, cotton pickers, disks, cultivators, and utility machinery. The role focuses on developing new customer relationships while maintaining and enhancing existing ones throughout the assigned territory.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Highly self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with computers and able to learn dealership management software.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in farm or construction equipment sales.
• Agricultural or mechanical background.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote and sell new and used equipment to customers throughout the assigned sales region.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
• Provide hands-on demonstrations of equipment in the field or at customer sites.
• Accurately complete all post-sale documentation, contracts, and reports.
• Deliver product training and ongoing support to customers after the sale.
• Participate in local trade shows, field days, and community events as needed to promote HEC’s wide range of equipment brands.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment specifications, pricing, promotions, and industry trends.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records in the company’s CRM system.
• Collaborate with service, parts, and accounting departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Promote additional offerings such as extended warranties, service plans, and parts packages.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
