About the position
The Equipment Service Co-op/Intern position at Honda for Summer 2025 offers college students hands-on, project-based work relevant to their field of study. This role is designed to provide valuable experience in various departments, focusing on equipment maintenance and service. Responsibilities
- Engage in hands-on projects related to equipment maintenance and service.
- Assist with preventative maintenance work orders and maintenance repair tasks.
- Support building maintenance projects, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
- Confirm and update line-side hardwire prints in the Weld department.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing equipment failures in the Paint department.
- Conduct press inspections and repairs in the Stamping department.
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial safety.
- Demonstrated positive attitude and proactive approach to equipment maintenance.
- Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher.
- Must be enrolled in an associate degree or certificate program in a relevant field.
