About the position

The Equipment Service Technician role at Core-Mark involves delivering, installing, setting up, and repairing coffee, cappuccino, and frozen beverage equipment at various customer facilities. This position is essential for supporting the food distribution system in the U.S. and Canada, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and proactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Services, installs, and repairs all c-store coffee, cappuccino, and frozen beverage equipment.
• Performs regular on-site and in-shop maintenance and repairs.
• Proactively detects and corrects potential problems before they occur.
• Assists customers over the phone with repairs, calibrations, and troubleshooting.
• Records transaction information on a mobile device to provide to the appropriate office at the close of work orders.
• Communicates discrepancies and resolves issues as needed, returning warranty parts for credit and billing customers for parts used.
• Maintains effective communication with the company dispatcher to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction.
• Follows all safety procedures.
• Inspects the company-provided service vehicle and alerts management of necessary maintenance or repairs.
• Maintains part inventory levels in the service vehicle.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid State Driver's license is required to operate service vehicle.
• A minimum of two years of technician experience working on coffee, cappuccino, and frozen beverage equipment or related field preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good to excellent communication skills to work with customers, vendors, and co-workers.

Nice-to-haves

• Electrical and plumbing experience helpful.
