The Equipment Specialist 1 role at CH2O, Inc. involves assisting in the fabrication, repair, maintenance, and installation of chemical feed and control equipment. This position is crucial for ensuring the quality and efficiency of equipment operations, as well as maintaining inventory and processing orders. The role requires effective communication with customers and technical support in the field, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Provides 3-1 task and project list; checks email, voicemail, and order inboxes daily.
• Assists in fabrication of chemical delivery systems (CDS).
• Assists in fabrication of chemical application and monitoring equipment.
• Performs Quality Checks on OEM Units and PLC programs.
• Assists in maintaining inventory of parts and equipment.
• Packages and ships OEM Units and equipment.
• Effectively communicates with customer base pertaining to order entry activities.
• Able to perform equipment help desk functions and answer technical questions.
• Performs technical support in the field for account managers.
• Maintains pertinent quality system monitoring.
• Assists in the development and improvement of ISO 9001 CDS documentation such as user manuals, wire diagrams, bulletins, and checklists.
• Perform duties of Equipment Specialist 2 as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma; technical degree or associate degree (AA/AS) is a plus.
• One (1) year of experience in a related field.
• Possesses intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, including wiring of PLC and electrical panels.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control.
• Experience with power and hand tools required.
• Detail oriented.
• Able to follow direction.
