About the position
The Equipment/Yard Manager at Reyes Group, Ltd. is responsible for overseeing yard maintenance, building inspections, and equipment management. This role involves ensuring the upkeep of outdoor spaces, maintaining equipment and trucks, and supervising maintenance personnel. The position requires a hands-on approach to managing both routine and emergency maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with various teams to facilitate operations.
Responsibilities
- Mow, weed, and maintain the yard as needed, including monitoring contractor services.
- Replace dead plants/trees and adjust sprinklers seasonally.
- Plant seasonal flowers and trim trees/shrubs as necessary.
- Maintain building inspections and change A/C filters monthly.
- Power wash and seal concrete/sidewalks annually and clean sanitary sewers as needed.
- Track and maintain trash and scrap metal dumpsters, including pick-up and payment.
- Maintain and track equipment maintenance schedules, fuel, and servicing.
- Supervise mechanics, CDL drivers, and shop personnel, entering data in Computer Ease.
- Dispatch trucks daily and maintain their inspections and registrations.
Requirements
- Experience in preventative maintenance and outdoor work.
- Mid-level CDL license preferred.
- Ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills for tracking maintenance schedules and inspections.
