About the position

The Remote Equity Analyst position is a part-time role that offers the opportunity to transition into a full-time position based on performance within 90 days. The role focuses on producing high-quality investment research and memos, leveraging a unique process to deliver superior outcomes. Ideal candidates will have strong writing skills and a proactive attitude, making it a perfect fit for those looking to gain buy-side experience or enhance their resumes in the investment field.

Responsibilities

• Produce 1-3 page investment memos summarizing potential investment opportunities based on setups provided by idea generation analysts.
• Diligently analyze and present key points raised by idea generation analysts in a concise manner.
• Format and visually enhance memos to ensure professional presentation.
• Work 8-16 hours per week, delivering 1-2 memos weekly.
• Collaborate with a high-quality, entrepreneurial team and a top fund manager.

Requirements

• Must have passed CFA Level One.
• 1-3+ years of sell-side research experience preferred, but exceptional writing skills can compensate for less experience.
• Strong writing ability and business understanding are paramount.
• Fluency with MS Excel, MS Word, and CapIQ is required.
