About the position

Mason Tillman Associates is seeking an Equity and Diversity Research Associate to support research and consulting projects focused on diversity and inclusion (D&I) in contracting and workforce practices. The role involves data collection, project administration, and technical writing, with a strong emphasis on fairness and equity for historically marginalized groups. Responsibilities

• Conduct research on issues related to diversity and inclusion in government contracting, procurement, and hiring practices
• Conduct literature searches and other independent research
• Assist with coordinating project activity and communication with internal and external audiences
• Assist with meeting planning for community outreach events including scheduling and coordinating dates
• Assist with preparing project reports, memos, presentations, and proposals
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required
• Five or more years of experience
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to initiate and conduct work independently and efficiently on concurrent projects
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Entry level experience in statistics, policy writing, research methods, or project management
• High proficiency in online research, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Mailchimp, and Salesforce applications
• Strong writing skills required
