About The Position
The Equity Capital Markets Analyst position at KBW in New York is a critical role within the investment banking sector, focusing on equity origination and execution. This position involves direct interaction with Managing Directors and requires the analyst to support deal teams across various equity-related transactions, including Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Follow-ons, Convertible Notes, and Private Placements. The analyst will be responsible for a range of tasks that are essential to the successful execution of these transactions, which include origination, pricing, structuring, modeling, valuation, and execution of all Equity and Equity-Linked offerings. In this role, the analyst will provide modeling and valuation analysis for all transactions, conduct Cost of Capital analysis for various financing alternatives, and monitor markets to determine indicative pricing levels for different products. Additionally, the analyst will analyze market trends, including macro-environment factors and new issue/secondary market dynamics. Supporting deal teams throughout the transaction execution process is a key responsibility, which includes chaperoned communication with research teams regarding the pricing and structuring of mandated IPOs. The analyst will also collaborate with equity sales teams to gather investor feedback on live transactions, ensuring that all aspects of the equity capital markets are effectively managed and executed. This position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $125,000, reflecting the importance of the role within the organization and the level of expertise required.
