About the position

The CIBC Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students with valuable work experience that complements their academic training and career aspirations. Interns will engage with executive leadership, network with peers, and participate in community outreach while gaining technical and analytical skills alongside a team of investment professionals. The program runs for 10 weeks during the summer, offering mentorship, training opportunities, and leadership support to ensure a meaningful internship experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in community outreach activities.
• Engage with executive leadership and network with employees and fellow interns.
• Work alongside investment professionals to gain technical and analytical skills.
• Complete assignments within short time frames while assuming significant levels of responsibility.

Requirements

• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with equity research.
