About the position
Sands Capital is looking for a Research Analyst that has strong domain expertise with experience working across the Consumer, Industrial, and Technology sectors to join us as a member of our Investment Team. The Research Analyst will act as a thought leader for fundamental growth investments in developed markets, with a primary focus on the U.S. In coordination with Sands Capital's strategies, Research Analysts identify and recommend businesses that meet Sands Capital's six investment criteria. Research Analysts typically have 7+ years of investment experience, deep domain expertise, a strong investing track record, and highly effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Value-added investment recommendations: Analysts leverage their deep-domain expertise to develop key insights that lead to long-term investment recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team.
- Effective communication (both verbal and written): Articulate and share key insights for value-added portfolio actions.
- Other position responsibilities, as needed.
- Exhibit behaviors consistent with Sands Capital's Mission, Values, and culture.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited university.
- CFA preferred, but not required.
- ~7+ years of industry experience, preferably on the buy-side.
- A passion for growth investing.
- Outstanding analytical and strategic aptitude; highly motivated with a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Strong work ethic, diligence, and an ability to execute at a high level without direct supervision.
- Open and receptive; having a growth mindset.
