As an Equity Research Associate in the Energy & Sustainability Sector, you will play a crucial role in assembling and validating data on quality growth companies using both internal and external data sources. Your responsibilities will include collecting information on industry events, company financials, and investment information to support fundamental research objectives. You will assist senior Research Analysts in defining and documenting objectives and approaches for specific research projects and studies, conducting research using predefined parameters, and building or updating financial models to conduct security analyses and identify opportunities for significant investment returns. In addition, you will prepare internal and external written reports, notes, presentations, and other materials to communicate research findings, news events, investment ideas, and opinions resulting from security analyses. You will also have the opportunity to visit companies, attend conferences, and build relationships with company executives, documenting contact points and information obtained to assist in analysis activities. Your role will involve identifying and formulating new investment ideas, issuing opinions and recommendations to clients on securities and companies in targeted industry groups, and responding to inquiries from clients, investment teams, sales and marketing, and the general public regarding individual securities or industry groups. Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities.
