About the position

The Equity Research Associate role is part of Voya Investment Management's Entry Level Analyst Program, designed to develop the careers of entry-level employees. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in equity research while supporting the investment team with portfolio analyst responsibilities. The role is hybrid, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work, and is set to begin in July 2025.

Responsibilities

• Conduct company and industry research alongside the Senior Analyst.
• Analyze and synthesize relevant data from industry conferences, company earnings calls, and sell-side research reports.
• Create and update financial models.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree expected in December 2024/Spring 2025 with a strong academic record.
• Relevant internships in Investment Management or related Finance fields preferred.
• Coursework in Accounting is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and prior experience with financial modeling preferred.
• Bloomberg experience preferred.
• Passion for Finance and demonstrated interest in investing/stock market.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work in a team environment and independently.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with financial modeling and analysis.
• Prior internships in finance or investment management.
