About the position

The Equity Research Associate role at Voya Investment Management is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates to support the Fundamental Equity investment team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in equity research and portfolio analysis while participating in the Voya Investment Management Entry Level Analyst Program, which begins in July 2025. The role is hybrid, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work, and focuses on conducting company and industry research, analyzing data, and creating financial models.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Senior Analyst to conduct company and industry research
• Analyze and synthesize relevant data from industry conferences, company earnings calls, and sell-side research reports
• Create and update financial models
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Applicants should be graduating with an undergraduate degree in December 2024/Spring 2025
• BA/BS with a strong academic record
• Relevant internships in Investment Management or related Finance fields preferred
• Coursework in Accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and prior experience with financial modeling preferred
• Bloomberg experience preferred
• Passion for Finance and demonstrated interest in investing/stock market
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and independently
