About the position

Jefferies is seeking a junior analyst for its Aerospace and Defense (A&D) and Airlines Equity Research team, which covers 45 stocks. The associate will focus on organizing corporate access meetings, expert calls, industry events, and attending conferences. The role involves managing the team's calendar, maintaining industry databases, and maximizing research distribution among clients. Over time, the associate will also develop marketing materials and engage with management teams of companies.

Responsibilities

• Organize corporate access meetings, expert calls, and industry events.
• Attend conferences and execute corporate access events.
• Manage and maximize the calendar of the team among clients, corporates, and media appearances.
• Maintain industry databases to ensure correct and up-to-date information for research reports.
• Maximize distribution of research among clients.
• Develop marketing materials for clients and meet with management teams of companies.

Requirements

• Strong academic background, preferably in marketing or finance.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong Excel proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a time-sensitive environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Resourcefulness, entrepreneurial spirit, and proven leadership qualities.
• Bachelor's Degree with high GPA.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong interest in Aerospace and Defense and/or Airlines.
• Securities licensing (Series 7/63 and 86/87) is a plus.
