About the position

In this role, you will be a member of the Global Research team at Bank of America - a world-class sell-side Research Department. The position involves working closely with the US Equity & Quantitative Strategy team as a Marketing Assistant, where you will support the end-to-end coordination and execution of marketing schedules for the team. This role is crucial in navigating the entire analyst marketing process and collaborating with analysts to effectively position marketing content. You will be responsible for supporting the team in planning forward-looking marketing initiatives, which may include creating target client lists, managing team calendars, and organizing events. Your responsibilities will also include booking travel arrangements, preparing expense reports, maintaining analysts' calendars, and scheduling meetings and client conference calls. You will leverage data and liaise with relevant teams to identify target cities and client accounts, ensuring that marketing schedules are arranged, monitored, and aligned with departmental strategy and logging standards. The role requires heavy use of CRM platforms and additional internal client databases, and you will support the Analyst marketing team with various ad hoc projects as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Navigating end to end analyst marketing and collaborating with analysts to best position marketing content
  • Supporting teams with planning forward looking marketing, which may include target client lists, team calendars, and organizing events
  • Booking travel and preparing expense reports, maintaining analysts' calendars, scheduling meetings, and client conference calls
  • Being responsible for leveraging data and liaising with relevant teams to identify target cities and client accounts
  • Arranging marketing schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring schedules are aligned with department strategy and logging standards
  • Heavy use of CRM platforms and additional internal client databases
  • Supporting the Analyst marketing team with ad hoc projects

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree (preferably in Business or Marketing) or equivalent years of experience
  • 2-3 years experience within Equity Research, Investment Banking, or Institutional Sales
  • Solid administrative, marketing, and/or roadshow related experience is an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoys collaborating with others
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook experience is required
  • Being highly organized with the ability to be proactive and solution oriented
  • Having a solid sense of urgency and the ability to work accurately and effectively during peak times
  • Ability to multi-task in a time sensitive environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
