About the position
The Product Manager role in the US Equity Research team at UBS involves enhancing the quality and commerciality of research outputs. This position is integral to the Investment Review Committee, ensuring that research meets UBS's high standards and is effectively communicated. The role requires collaboration with analysts and various teams to maintain data quality and promote innovative research views.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the Investment Review Committee.
- Review critical research to ensure UBS quality standards are met.
- Coordinate interactions within global research and other parts of the firm.
- Assist analysts during the launch process and connect them to various platforms.
- Promote differentiated research views and evidence-based research.
- Ascertain data quality, consistency, and appropriateness.
- Share ideas and best practices across the Research Department.
- Work with analysts, research management, and operations teams to maintain up-to-date views.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of prior research experience.
- Strong financial statement analysis ability.
- MBA or CFA preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating fundamental views.
- Inquisitive, organized, and able to work independently.
