About the position

The HR Coordinator position at PDS Tech Inc is a temporary role focused on supporting human resource processes with an emphasis on safety and security coordination. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and effective communication with staff at all levels. The position is hybrid, requiring onsite work for the first month for training, followed by a mix of remote and onsite work.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Security Managers to develop, prepare, and implement safety and security policies and procedures.
• Maintain and manage all security-related documentation and records.
• Coordinate safety and security programs to ensure a safe working environment.
• Review and recommend revisions or updates to current safety training programs.
• Provide recommendations for improvements to the safety management program, including emergency preparedness and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, and codes.
• Prepare reports and conduct preliminary investigations of security-related incidents.
• Assist with security training initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• 1-3 years of HR Coordinator experience preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong calendar management skills, including coordination of complex executive meetings.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to task management.
