About the position

The HR Coordinator will facilitate human resource processes across all business locations, ensuring professionalism and confidentiality while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This temporary position requires a proactive and flexible approach to support the HR team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between employees and management, resolving employee relations matters related to safety investigations and corrective actions.
• Implement and administer company safety policies and procedures, advising management on safety-related disciplinary actions.
• Investigate and resolve employee concerns related to safety issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Maintain accurate records of safety case investigations in the Employee Relations (ER) case management system.
• Identify trends and propose solutions to improve the work environment based on safety case patterns.
• Mentor HR team members on best practices for employee relations, especially related to safety matters.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Assist with I9 processing.
• Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• 1-3 years of HR Coordinator experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• A proactive attitude, with a sense of urgency and a bias for action.
