About the position
The ERP Application Analyst Intern position at Garmin International is designed for students pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems. The intern will engage in learning and training to develop documentation, conduct quality control, and analyze business processes. The role focuses on supporting and maintaining enterprise software applications while completing projects that enhance application efficiency for Garmin's employees and customers.
Responsibilities
- Learn to work with users to analyze, configure, and tailor applications to support business applications.
- Learn to write design documents and test procedures for applications.
- Learn to modify application configurations to maintain, improve, and extend existing software.
- Learn to collaborate with developers to design applications that meet user requirements and develop/implement unit and system testing processes.
- Learn to implement documentation standards and perform documentation tracking and review.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0).
- Demonstrated strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant experience and/or training.
Nice-to-haves
- Outstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5).
- Previous experience working in a team environment.
