About the position

The ERP Budget & Finance Specialist II is a key role within Clayton Properties Group (CPG) that focuses on supporting the ERP and EPM Financials Pillar. This position involves working with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials modules to enhance CPG's efficiency in various financial applications, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Cash Management. The specialist will also collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, implement new functionalities, and ensure the integrity of financial data across systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact for verifying metadata integrity and updates in ESSBASE and ASO cubes.
  • Partner with EPM Budget and Profitability Specialist to meet business needs for forecasting and cost modeling.
  • Configure data and metadata for Oracle modules in the EDMC application.
  • Research variances between Oracle GL, FCC, and EPM cubes regarding EDMC/metadata discrepancies.
  • Work with business unit leaders to create and enhance budgets.
  • Update and create one-year forecasting models in EPM using previous budget and actual results.
  • Recognize and address budget errors and provide resolutions.
  • Provide design recommendations and governance for optimizing information flows.
  • Assist in the design, configuration, updates, and maintenance of various ERP modules.
  • Test functionality of configuration enhancements and new Oracle projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related area.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in ERP or financial systems.
  • CPA preferred or other relevant certifications in Accounting Information Systems.
  • Experience in residential construction preferred.
  • Audit/Accounting background preferred.
  • Ability to run SQL queries and analyze data.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Oracle ERP or other ERP systems.
  • Ability to think outside the box and problem solve.
  • Self-motivated and highly resourceful.
