About the position

The ERP Business Analyst role focuses on improving and streamlining manufacturing processes by optimizing the use of the primary ERP system and associated technologies. The position involves collaboration with end users to identify business process improvements, develop specifications for system changes, and educate users on ERP functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Identifies business process improvements
• Propose and refine solutions recommendations through collaboration with end users
• Works as part of the IT Team to develop specifications and requirements for system changes
• Assist in testing programming or configuration changes
• Document business process changes and maintain SOP library
• Lead small business improvement projects
• Educate users in basic ERP navigation and functions
• Develop or improve skills related to Infor XA ERP System business object management and use
• Attend vendor and industry webinars for basic education and to keep current with technology changes
• Advance Infor XA specific skill sets and knowledge to take advantage of underutilized modules and technology

Requirements

• BA Degree in CS, MIS, Business Administration, Information Systems, Technical, Finance, Accounting or Engineering
• 2+ years' experience in programming, business analyst or systems analyst role
• Commitment to continuous improvement, teamwork and a curious nature
• Experience with query building tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau or other relational database tools
• Ability to collect requirements and convert into new process recommendations
• Ability to learn Infor XA specific tools: System Link Took Kit, IBM CL, basic IBM Power 9 navigation, RDi and XA Integrator

• Certifications such as APICS, GSEC, CBAP, FSCM, PMP, CAPM, PMI, E1, or CPIM
