About The Position

The ERP Business Systems Analyst will assist with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system improvements and business process improvements, improving business efficiency and ensuring the ERP system operates effectively and as designed. This individual will work collaboratively with stakeholders and various Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to recommend process improvements in conjunction with ERP system upgrades to ensure the ERP system is working optimally for the County. As an ERP Business Systems Analyst, your responsibilities will include developing testing scripts, defining process requirements, identifying and selecting solutions, identifying and communicating system enhancements, establishing implementation plans, and driving a successful implementation. The ERP Business Systems Analyst provides the highest functional expertise and works under limited supervision on complex assignments.

Requirements

  • 1 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, or related field
  • Other combinations of education and experience may be considered in substitution for the minimum qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) with a focus on strategic testing processes and procedures
  • Perform full suite of ERP system testing utilizing an automated testing tool, including the following: testing all County department processes, reviewing and assessing new features and the impact they have on the scripts, and identifying possible impacts on business processes
  • Ensure all testing is planned, executed, and delivered in accordance with County best practices and quality standards while meeting tight deadlines
  • Proactively identify defects, seek resolution, and maintain testing schedule
  • Perform diagnostic tests and resolve issues to optimize performance for the test application
  • Identify and communicate system enhancements and recommend process improvements to stakeholders
  • Perform application system analysis to improve efficiencies and eliminate manual and time-consuming processes
  • Track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test statuses
  • Document and maintain ERP processes and procedures
