About the position

The ERP Business Systems Lead will serve as a key partner to leaders across the company, focusing on assessing business needs and reporting demands. This role is crucial for enhancing data analytics tools and ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, knowledge of data systems, and the ability to build interpersonal relationships to support the company's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards and reports within supported ERPs.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot reporting systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical issues and ensure data integrity.
• Ensure security and appropriate levels of access for all employees.
• Develop and maintain financial reports and analytics tools using Power BI.
• Analyze financial data using SQL to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate existing financial processes to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
• Implement process enhancements to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
• Lead or support continuous improvement efforts on internal processes.
• Strategize with leadership on enhancements to reporting capabilities.
• Support departments with time-sensitive business needs.
• Evaluate and recommend alternative enterprise products for automated solutions.
• Ensure financial systems adhere to industry regulations and internal controls.
• Assist in audits and compliance reviews.
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize system utilization.
• Create user guides and documentation for system usage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment of financial systems with business needs.
• Act as a liaison between Finance, IT, and other departments to drive system enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis, data analysis, or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools.
• Experience utilizing APIs.
• Proficiency in financial software systems, Power BI, and SQL.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Project management skills are a plus.
• Strong ability to drive accountability for self and others.
• Comfortable managing ambiguity and operational concerns.
• Experience in developing and implementing operational procedures.
