About the position

The ERP Developer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and implementation of new or modified applications software, particularly focusing on ERP systems. This role requires a strong understanding of software development principles, database management, and the ability to establish cooperative working relationships with stakeholders. The position emphasizes technical expertise in ERP applications and CI/CD pipeline management, ensuring efficient code deployment and system integration.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design, development, testing, and implementation of new or modified applications software.
  • Lead and provide technical solutions for complex ERP applications, including batch and real-time integrations.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with stakeholders in the course of work.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automating tasks and processes.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems related to ERP applications and integrations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of ERP CGI Advantage 3.11 and 4.x with Oracle databases.
  • Technical expertise in design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency with Jenkins, GitHub, ArgoCD, or similar tools.
  • Experience with Rancher and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with scheduling batch jobs and file transfer tools such as Control-M, FileZilla, or WinSCP.
  • Established experience using native SFTP clients on Unix, Linux, and Windows systems.
  • Ability to compare files using tools like Beyond Compare or Visual Studio Code.
  • Knowledge of operating systems including Unix, Linux, and Windows.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Cherwell ticket management systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Splunk monitoring tools.
  • Experience engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.
