About the position

The ERP Functional Analyst (HR or Payroll or Finance) position at CGI involves a blend of functional and technical responsibilities, primarily focusing on the implementation of ERP solutions for government clients. The role requires strong analytical skills and knowledge in HR, Payroll, and Finance, with a significant emphasis on collaboration within a modern agile environment. The successful candidate will help clients maximize their ERP investments while adapting to changing project environments.

Responsibilities

  • Leading sessions to analyze business requirements to determine functional solutions.
  • Planning and managing resources to create functional design documents and other functional project deliverables.
  • Planning and leading fit-gap analysis of current processes to future designed processes.
  • Developing business concepts/designs for functionality to support client's business requirements.
  • Resolving functional issues and providing functional support to the project team.
  • Planning and executing testing strategy for Unit, Integrated System, and End-to-End testing as well as supporting User Acceptance testing.
  • Designing and testing reports and analytics to support client Business Intelligence requirements.
  • Collaborating with clients independently to prepare participants for meeting sessions and to answer questions regarding their business functions as it relates to Advantage ERP.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of experience implementing ERP systems such as SAP, Workday, PeopleSoft, or CGI Advantage.
  • Strong preference for experience with CGI Advantage.
  • Agile certification, such as SAFe certification, with related agile implementation experience.
  • Established background in HR-Payroll-Finance functional areas.
  • Ability to support change management and business process re-engineering.
  • Self-motivated and able to adapt to changing project environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure.
