About the position

The ERP Functional Analyst role at Enbridge involves leveraging data expertise within Fixed Assets to support ERP Functional teams and Business SMEs. This position is crucial for ensuring data readiness and integration during various ERP phases, requiring effective communication of technical topics to non-technical audiences. The analyst will be accountable for executing data readiness deliverables, identifying data issues, and optimizing data processes to meet program timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage data expertise within Fixed Assets to support ERP Functional teams and Business SMEs.
  • Support planning and communication of data work during each ERP phase.
  • Ensure execution of data readiness scope and deliverables to meet program timelines.
  • Integrate and coordinate Functional team members working on data activities.
  • Define the Mock dataset strategy and sequence with the Functional team.
  • Identify data readiness issues and challenges, providing recommendations for remediation.
  • Participate in Level 5 process reviews with functional teams to identify data impacts.
  • Review Integration Functional Designs and Report Functional Designs for data impacts.
  • Participate in Conversion Functional Design reviews to ensure accurate data mapping and rules.
  • Translate conversion data using experience with Powerplan, SAP, and Oracle Cloud.
  • Support Finance business team in validating data using Excel and other tools.
  • Resolve data issues within and across teams regarding requirements and processes.
  • Execute data conversion processes across the entire data lifecycle to meet program timelines.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization, cleansing, and execution of data readiness.
  • Support inputs into project status for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Track and report on data readiness metrics.

Requirements

  • Related university degree in Business or Technology.
  • Experience with SAP, Powerplan, or Oracle Cloud.
  • Experience with Fixed Assets.
  • Familiarity with data standards and data quality reporting.
  • Ability to identify risks and issues and recommend actions to remedy them.
  • Proven interpersonal, communication, and influence skills with technical and functional personnel.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to progress work and report status.
  • Understanding of enterprise-wide and Business Unit specific requirements.
  • Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Nice-to-haves

  • Industry experience in energy storage and distribution.
  • Experience with large scale, complex project go-lives (i.e., cutovers).
  • Experience with data transformation on large enterprise programs.
