About the position

The Portage County Human Resources department is seeking a full-time Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) Implementer to support the Human Resources and Finance departments. This role involves managing the implementation of the ERP Munis module and updating departmental policies, ensuring that projects are completed on time and in accordance with established guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the activities of module implementation to ensure timelines are met for testing and live launches.
  • Research and share Munis Knowledge base documents to assist in the set-up of each module.
  • Coordinate training of end users on the module prior to launching in the live database.
  • Create customized instructions and frequently asked questions for new modules.
  • Create outlines of activities needed for department policy updates.
  • Recommend and coordinate staff assigned to policy review groups when appropriate.
  • Coordinate policy review by third party liability carrier as required or recommended.
  • Prepare policy documents in track changes according to resolution guidelines for presentation to governing committees and County Board if needed.
  • Attend assigned governing committee meetings as requested.
  • Consult with other county personnel, federal, state, and other counties regarding business matters.
  • Maintain client confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Two to four years' experience working with an ERP or Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Tyler Munis preferred.
  • Knowledge of government administration setting required.
  • Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
