About the position

The ERP IT Analyst position at Lockheed Martin is focused on supporting the Aeronautics business area by providing technology and operational support for SAP ERP applications. The role involves understanding business needs, performing operational application support, leading requirements gathering, and assisting in solution design and implementation. The analyst will work closely with ERP functional analysts and developers in a fast-paced, agile environment to ensure effective solutions that meet operational business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational application support and standard maintenance tasks for ERP applications.
• Assist and lead in requirements gathering and documentation activities.
• Support solution blue printing and design workshops.
• Execute configuration and implementation support tasks for ERP applications.
• Provide post go-live deployment support and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with ERP functional analysts and developers to ensure solution accuracy and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Prior experience with ERP applications, specifically SAP.
• Experience capturing customer requirements and authoring functional specifications.
• Experience working with developers to design solutions.
• Experience facilitating data-driven decisions.
• Ability to apply functional knowledge to meet operational business needs to increase revenue and reduce costs.
• US Citizenship is required for this role.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience supporting Enterprise Resource Planning applications as an IT or Functional Analyst.
• Knowledge of functional production operations processes in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
• Experience overseeing SAP system configuration changes.
• Experience with Idoc processing and understanding error occurrences.
• Familiarity with SAP modules such as PM, MM, PP, PS, and MDG.
• Experience with manufacturing execution systems and MES integration with ERP systems.
• Experience working with Military customers in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
• Experience facilitating change and learning activities.
• Experience with Fiori and/or Personas.
• Experience in large-scale ERP and business process modernization activities.
• Experience with JIRA for agile sprint planning and execution.
• Understanding of agile software development, specifically the SAFe Scaled Agile Framework.
